Falling Down [RIOT]

Crysta was simply walking out away from her apartment, taking the streets of Japan Town once again. She thought it was meant to be an ordinary day, nothing eventful was going to occur, and she could wander Tawton City as per usual. But Crysta was apparently very, very wrong.

Walking past a crumbling building, she heard some sort of very faint beeping sound. Unfortunately, as she noticed this, something exploded in the building next to her. Smoke was quick to surround her, making her eyes tear up a little, as the building next to her started to creak. She coughed slightly, attempting to stumble around in the fog-like smoke, and at least get away from the building that looked about ready to collapse after that explosion.

Just as the smoke started to clear, she spotted one of the few inhabitants that stayed in crumbling Japan Town, but she didn't seem normal. Inhabitants of this place weren't generally all too active, so when this Lady was standing in the middle of a clearing, almost ready to charge at some other inhabitant much less fortunate than Crysta, she knew something was up.
It didn't take long before said Lady was beating some unfortunate soul to a pulp, and for Crysta to slowly step back. What has gotten into these people? And what was going on with that explosion? 
Crysta flinched hearing a smashing glass behind her, spinning on the spot with wide eyes. Someone emerging from an alley had thrown a bottle and it had hit the corner of a wall near Crysta. He seemed to be muttering something, but it was incoherent and Crysta started to back away again, going closer to the Lady whom she backed away from before. Hearing a growl from behind her and not wanting to engage in anything, she started sprinting right, through the town and attempting to avoid people more than usual. Whatever had gotten into these people wasn't good, and whatever happened to those who weren't infected wasn't good either, they'd have to fight back, or be chewed up and spat out again.

Crysta squeaked at the sight of someone starting to use some small scale fire abilities, and was forced to a halt. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." She sighed, exasperation in her voice and fear draining the colour from her face.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Crysta was curious as to what the fire user was screaming about, but quickly whipped her head around to see the attackers new aim. Crysta had never seen a tiger before, in real life that is, but she knew of the damage they could do and became witness of it far too quickly for her liking. She let out a whimper at the sight of the tiger attacking, claws and teeth sharp. This was a lot more gruesome than that of her 'accidents', sure there was blood either way but it was almost numbing to see something like this.
Taking in a shaky breath, she turned her head to face the Jester after his call out. She bit her lip as he stepped forwards, almost tempted to bring her hands forwards to do some damage if the tigers or their master turned. She couldn't help but wonder where he had gotten the tigers, there were no zoos in Tawton City to her knowledge.
Giving the Jester a confused look, Crysta couldn't help but echo some of the things her was saying. "A clear mind?" "Mad?...like you?" It was rather strange how he was speaking of these people that were plagued to act this way, she wouldn't think going mad or having a clear mind were the phrases for this current predicament, more like normal or outright insane.
Her face dropped slightly at him saying her name, and she let one of her feet fall behind the other in case of the need to step backwards from this stranger to her. Raising an eyebrow at the self-deemed mad man, she let her hand raise in front of her eyeing both him and the tigers. "How do you know my name?" She asked firmly, but still with fear shining through her words. Her face seemed harsh, but it broke when another bottle went flying towards them and she had to duck down and step out of her defensive position. "Motherfuc-" She stopped herself short, shooting a quick glare in the direction it had come from, before letting her gaze go back to the Jester, fear still apparent in her eyes even through her annoyed persona.

Clopin tilted his head slightly, giving the young girl a curious grin. “Why are you repeating what I just said? That’s very strange,” he chuckled in amusement, giving her an amused expression as he glanced over at the tiger and its new toy. Then returned his gaze back onto the female when the Bengal tiger growled lowly at the sight of Crysta raising her hands up in defense. ‘Don’t do anything you’d regret. Or you’ll be a new addition to their toys.” Clopin gestured over to the other toys that were laying on the ground and being pawed at by the other three tigers. While the Bengal tiger just stayed behind Clopin, staring straight at Crysta.


“And that’s how you thank someone?...Oh well! You’re welcome, my dear.” Clopin proudly remarked to the young female, giving her a bright delirious grin. The harshness of her expression didn’t affect the jester at all in a negative way. It actually just piqued his interest even more. “How do I know? Well my dear, you befriended a protégé of mine.” Clopin paused for a moment as he tapped his foot on the ground as he glanced over at the person who threw the bottle. “Well that was quite rude.” Clopin simply murmured before his eyes flashed violet and the Bengal tiger left him be, to attack the rude asshole. “Now where was I? Oh! Now I remember! I invaded Loki’s mind and found out about you. It’s as simple as that.” Clopin finally answered in a clear tone, grinning widly.

Crysta chewed her bottom lip, tempted to speak her thoughts. Strange? You're one to talk. Crysta rubbed her fingers on her thumbs, looking at the Jester skeptically. That is, before one of the tigers growled at Crysta, causing her to lower her hands only slightly at his comment. The way Crysta was acting around this man wasn't really usual for her way of acting around someone that didn't already know her powers, but she was confused of the whole situation really, and kind of scared. One mess up and she could be dead meat.

Crysta had almost let out a small smirk at his cheerful, yet strange, attitude towards the situation but managed to keep her expression firm. And it was almost as if that crazy grin of his was contagious. It wasn't until after the incident with the throwing of a bottle however, that she got the answer to her question. How did her know her name?
Crysta let her shoulders drop and her back straighten at the mention of Loki's name. She remembered his insisting attitude about getting her to smile for real, and wholly, and Crysta kinda let herself believe that was her first step of many to get out of the dark.
"Y-you know Loki?" she breathed, before realizing how much exactly he might've found out, after all he said he invaded his mind. Sure even Loki didn't know about her power completely, but she had made it clear about not being touched for a big reason.

Clopin nodded his head in response to her question, watching as the young female straightened her back at the mention of Loki. Of course he knew Loki, they were both crazy of course. So it wasn't really hard to put two to two together. Well for Clopin it wasn't. And he had known the teen for quite awhile. Even longer than what the trickster believed. But it wasn't the time to tell him. Well it wasn't really in Clopin's schedule to tell the boy anything. Just let the male just happen upon puzzle pieces until he puts them together. "I'm one of the factors to his delightful personality and antics."

He reached out, his gloved finger just a few centimeters away from the female's nose before pulling it back with a smirk. "I can read your mind, dearie. I believe that touching is a no go?" Clopin chuckled in amusement as he placed his hands on his hips. "Soooo what are you? Some sort of fairy with...touching issues? Or is it a secret?" Clopin then tapped slightly at his temple, giving her a devilish grin. "Better lock up you precious thoughts. I'll unravel your secrets in seconds."

Crysta rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips and dropping her head to the side to give an unbelieving look. "Well, I suppose you could be... despite somehow having tigers." She mumbled, forgetting the havoc that was going on still further into the town.
Crysta barely realized that Clopin had his finger pointing towards her nose until just before he pulled it away again. If she was able to touch people that simply, she would've slapped his hand away, but instead prompted to crossing her arms over her chest and pouting. This man enjoyed playing with people, she could see that clearly enough, much like another certain troublemaker they both knew. 
She shot him another look of disbelief, "A fairy, with touching issues? I can see where you are coming from, but really?" she almost laughed at how stupid it sounded out loud. Before she furrowed her eyebrows, no longer laughing, "It is a secret, and there's a little thing called privacy." She mumbled, standing with her arms less so crossed and more as if she was cradling them. Over the last couple of weeks, she'd managed to push most of her thoughts about Riley to back of her mind due to the new occurrences in her life. People like Lena, Loki, and even that ass Jason made her cope, so that is what she focused on for the most part. Obviously not forgetting to be careful about her power and who she was around, but still, it worked. So with those thoughts buried back, if the Jester were to try and find them he'd have one hell of a time rummaging.

Clopin clocked an eyebrow at how the female looked at him, and mocked her by copying her actions. He then glanced around at the tigers before back at the young female. “Oh? You really believe them to be real?” Clopin chuckled softly, thinking that this female was strange to have not seen that the tigers were unreal. Not even caring that she’d thought they were real due to the blood scattered upon the street due to the tiger’s having fun with their toys. “Well they aren’t. “ he simply added as the white tiger that had taken down the fire user, padded over to the winged female and walked straight through her, disappearing into a blue mist. At that same time Clopin’s eyes went from violet to his normal dark brown eyes. “Unless I want them to be.” Clopin remarked brightly, pouting a bit as one of his tigers returned back into blue mist.


“Sums you up, doesn’t it?" He commented, winking playfully at the young female in amusement. “Privacy? I do understand such. But I have no care and respect for other’s privacy except for mine.” Clopin responded to her mumble, shrugging his shoulders a bit. He paused for a moment as he got lost in his thoughts for a moment. “I do love challenges. I hope you know that if you continue to peak my interest with such a secret,” Clopin smirked devilishly, as he wagged his finger slightly at Crysta.

Crysta rolled her eyes yet again, mumbling a small 'yeah'. What kind of unreal creatures would be able to do this much damage? She almost started walking back again as the white tiger came closer, but instead she stayed still knowing that if it were going to attack her it wouldn't get very far. Crysta gasped at the tiger walking through her, then simply disappearing in a blue mist. The mist felt slightly cold, and it caused a shiver through Crysta wings and spine. "That was... weird." She mumbled, not able to find a better word for that sensation.


Crysta pouted again, before chewing the inside of her lip when he winked and letting her eyes scrutinize him. 
Watching his finger wagging, Crysta smiled playfully, "Well, peaking your interest was not on my agenda for today, so should I just go?" she said, pushing her thumb out to face behind her over her shoulder.
