It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSat Feb 28, 2015 10:40 pm

What time is it..?
The trickster already guessed it was early forenoon the moment he flickerd his eyes open, and groggily pulled himself up from the old and torend up couch he had found the night before. Yawning loudly, he streatched his thin arms above his head while taking in his surroundings. Where was he again..? Or right...
In one of the many rooms these abandoned buildings had, and not just any random one apparently. Nope,  he rememebred when this room had been warm, clean and smelled of freshly baked the few morinngs he'd been allowed to wake up here.
Green eyes travlled over towards the old bookcase, where there had once been filled to brim with books. Now it stood empty, except for the forgotten old book tossed on the floor.
'Mytologi', it read, unwilling reminding the teen of both found and unpleasing memories. He sighed, rubbing his temple gently while picking up the old book.
Been a while sicne I last read something norwegian...he thought, but ended up putting the book on the old bookshelf instead.

Putting back on his discared and beloved hoodie, Loki calmly left the old apartment, picking up what was left of the drugs he ahd drowend himself in the night before. He hadn't meant to go overboard, or even end up staying the night at this old, rotting place. Clopin knew the trickster could take of himself, even the constant toruble he got himself into, so him dissapearing for a night or two wouldn't alarm the the Jester. But, Loki's now been absent for a little more than week, without as mcuh a word. Would the mad-man be concerned at this point?
"Ugh..." the teen groaned, grimacing as he felt the need to vomit and had to lean his weight on the bulding walls. Inhaling a few times, he was quick to pull himself togheter and continue on his little mornign walk through the allies, not faced or even caring by the rats that popped up now and then. This was their territory now afterall.

Maybe I should head home, Loki thought distantly, currnetly only hearing his stomach whining after somethign to eat. He smiled a little to himself as he thought of the older man, wondering if he'd mind fixing him some food or just send him off to bother Jim-
He halted abruptly the moment his friend popped up in his mind, and unconsciously placed a hand over his stomach when he felt that unpleasant tugg again.
He was sure Jim was fine, having seen the guy pull throguh things ten times worse than what Loki had done to him. But Loki's conern was still there, and he hated moments like this when he actully felt guilt and didn't know what to do about it. Cursing under his breathe, his hand immedinetly pulled the hood over his face, and had to crouch down when he felt another wave of nauseous hit him.
That dense moron...

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 6:23 am

Clopin glanced around his small little hideaway that he made out of one of the old building’s basements, at a few of his co-workers eating up some of the food that he had fixed up daily. Though today was completely quiet and tense, due to the expression on the Jester’s face. His co-workers knew when to keep their mouths shut at times like these. Clopin wasn’t too pleased to have not seen or heard from Loki for about a week. Even that Jimbo lad hadn’t paid him much of a visit. Although Clopin had heard a rumor from his little bird about Jim having to visit the hospital for stitches and such. He always had that little bird follow and watch Jimbo and his cousin for special measures. Especially since Jim’s cousin was working with the military. Were Jim and Loki’s disappearance entwined? Clopin wasn’t going to wait any longer to find out.

The Jester headed out of his joint, out to the alley ways. He walked around a few alley ways, determined to find the young trickster. Seeing as the young male had to turn up close to him somehow. Clopin sighed softly and blew a red mist into his hand that formed into a burgundy colored sparrow.  He used the sparrow as his second pair of eyes as he sent it off and resumed searching the alley. The sparrow finally found what it was looking for as it spotted the young trickster crouching down with his hood over his face. While the bird waited for Clopin, it flew around the young trickster and pecked a bit at the male's hood. Like it was reprimanding him in Clopin's stead Soon enough Clopin finally reached the area where the trickster was, with his hands on his hips.

“Disappear for a week. And this is where I find you? Out in the open for anything to get to you?” Clopin remarked out loudly, shaking his head in a bit of disapproval. He walked over towards Loki, narrowing his eyes at how the trickster looked. He tilted his head a bit before picking the younger male up and tossing him over his shoulder. “Don’t you dare puke. I won’t mind dropping your drugged self onto this concrete ground.” He mused in a warning lace tone, with an amused grin. Would serve the child a lesson for getting high. This better not be the reason for his week disappearance, Clopin thought to himself as he whistled lowly while headed back to the hideout with Loki over his shoulder.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 7:53 am

Loki, being in the current state he was, coudln't exactly be awre of his surrouindings. So when he felt something peck at his hood all of a sudden, he just tried to swat whaetever the thign was away. When it wouldn't leave him alone, he forced his head to look up at the red sparrow, which only took him a few seconds to figure out his guardian was on his way.
"Oh..." he just sighed, lowering his head again when the sunrays became to much for him, grumbling to himself as the damn headache refused to go away.

He felt his lips twicth into a small smirk as he heard the Jeste's loud remark, not looking up or moving from his spot and just instead waving lazily at the older man. He was about to say something else, but only yelped in surprise when Clopin was quick to pick him and then toss him over his shoulder without any difficulty whatsoever.
Did I lose weight again? the brunette thougth dizzily to himself, quickly covering his mouth and forcing away the need to puke.
To tired to come up with some typical come-back, Loki simply let himself be carried of like a ragdoll by the mad-man. So, apparently Clopin had been concerned, wouldn't surprsie the trickster if he'd woke up tied to his bed for a couple of days now or something.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 6:18 pm

Clopin blinked in surprise as he received no comeback from the trickster. That was strange. It was common for the young trickster to come up with something smart. “I’ve seen you on drugs before. I guess this time the drug was a bit too extreme for you?” he remarked out, as he headed back into his hideout, down the stairs before plopping the trickster onto an antique Victorian couch.

As he got the trickster on the couch, Clopin took a glance over the young male. Not too enthused at the sight that he saw. “I’d give you a plate a food. but think your stomach can take it?” he asked, glancing over at where he cooked his food then back to Loki. The younger male did feel lighter today. What had the trickster been doing for a week to end up like this?

He reached down, gripped the younger male’s hoodie and pulled his hood down. “Makes you look more like a midget with that on,” he mused in a bit amusement, trying to see if he could get a response from the younger male. For some reason, Clopin could see that it wasn’t only the drugs that seemed to be bothering the younger male. But what else could it be? Clopin tilted his head a bit as he thought about Jim’s disappearance as well. “Both you and Jimbo have been missing for a week. Is that such a coincidence?” Clopin added in a slight sarcastic tone, finding this case to be odd. Though it would be odd to find that Hawkins kid out in the alley way high as a kite. That kid stuck to liquor and sex.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 6:55 pm

Loki just gave a tired grunt at Clopin's question, mumbling something about the drugs being to weak to work the way he had wanted them too. As stupid and risky as it was, especially for him, the drugs hand't been as extreme as he wanted them too...
He remained quiet the rest of the walk though, and had almost doozoed off for a moment there, but was wide awake again when Clopin plopped him down on a couch. He grimaced a little in discomfort as the world was now spinning instead, and let his body fall down fully on the couch, his elbow covering his eyes. Even if they weren't outside, it was still to damn bright. "I think i've developed motion sickness," he whinned childishly, turning so he was laying on his side instead.
His stomach growled loudly at the mention of food, and gave the Jester a tired but hopefull glance. "...I don't suppose we still got some strawberries?" he smiled weakly. As much as he wished for some real food, Loki doubted he'd be able to swallow any of it before throwing it back up. A waste of food never sat good with him, especially if it was Clo's food.

He pouted when Clopin pulled his hood down, and stubbornly pulled it back over his face. He ignored the comment about looking like a midget, still to dizzy to think up on a good come-back. The older man surely had thought of this being stranger, since retoring with soem nasty or smartass coem back was kind fo Loki's thign and all, no matetr how bad he felt. Guess the trickster just lacked the enrergy to even think properly now.
No, Loki knew why he was more out of it than usual, it tended to happen after a certain time period after all. And the whole thing with Jim had just made the whole thing much worse than usual got.

And just as if on cue, Clopin asked about the older troublemaker, making Loki almost flicnh at the hearing his friend's nickname. He kept his poker mask on though, and really tried to block those thoughts before Clopin would see them. He idolized them man for pretty everything he did and stood for, but those telepathic powers of his even had Loki on edge at times. Especailly now, when Jim was almost the only thing popping up in the trickster's mind.
"I hope not," he sighed after a moment, avoding eye contact. He didn't exactly lie now, but neither did he speak the truth. "What, gotten to lonely without us hanging over your shoulders?" he chuckled, though it didn't sound as happy or michevious as it should.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 7:40 pm

Clopin scoffed a bit at the motion sickness remark, shaking his head a bit. “Next time, I’ll twirl around with you over my shoulder the next time then. Then you’ll really have that motion sickness in no time.” He grinned a bit, crossing his arms over his chest lazily. Now that would be hilarious a bit, Even though it would probably cause the younger male to puke faster on him. And that wouldn’t have stopped Clopin from harassing the younger male for doing so. The corners of his lips quirked up as he saw the trickster’s hopeful gaze at the sound of food. ‘If I didn’t have strawberries, you’d be having a temper tantrum right about now.” Clopin teased as he walked over to the counter and fixed a strawberry filled pancake onto the plate. “If you want to eat. Then sit up.” He firmly told the younger male as he walked back over with the plate.

He frowned a bit as the young male had pulled back his hood over his head once again. And the fact that the smaller male didn’t retort back with some snarky comeback.  Now this might be a bit more serious than what Clopin had presumed. “How’s your health? It’s a bit tricky to figure due to all those drugs in your system right now.” He questioned, raising an eyebrow at Loki. Was it really time for Loki to use his other powers yet? If so, Clopin wasn’t ready yet to lose another co-worker without knowing it. If the trickster really needed to use those powers, Clopin already knew a few people who were already through with their life. So the jester was prepared with candidates.

He narrowed his eyes at the male’s reaction at hearing Jim’s nickname. His eyes gleamed a slight violet color as his mind began to probe through the trickster’s thoughts. Catching a slight glance at the thoughts of Jim. All he could catch was something bad happened between the older troublemaker and the trickster. “I can feel you trying to block out your thoughts on Jimbo. You’re too slow at it.” He grunted with a small frown, giving Loki a disapproving stare. “So I’ll guess you are the reason behind his stitches?” he added in a nonchalant tone.  Clopin shrugged his shoulder a bit at the trickster’s comment as well. “It’s strange when my best two troublemakers disappear for a week without a word.”

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 8:21 pm

Loki immedintly sat up straight on the couch, ignoring the the way his vision blurred at his fast movements and soley focued on the delicious treat Clopin handed him. And here people thought it was impossible to keep the trickster pleased, oh if they only knew~
Thanking Clopin for the food like a well-mannerd and polite kid, he began digging in like a starved man. Which, in a way, he probably was.
'You eat like a viking lacking manners.'
'Vikings had 'manners'?'
'Nope.'
Loki slowed down as when he'd almsot finished his treat, suddenly losing the little appetite he had. He still pretty much cleaned the plate up though, but didn't ask for any seconds. Instead, he carefully put the dish away and bent over, covering his mouth in a desperate attempt to keep himself from throwing the food back up.

Inhaling deeply a few times, he somehow managed to force it all back, and tiredly laid back down on the couch. At least he didn't waste those delicious strawberry pancakes.
And then question concerning his health came up, having been expecting it but really wishing Clopin would've had enough mercy to avoid it this time. Just his damn luck.
"I won't need your help this time," he said firmly, yet hiding his eyes away from Clopin behind his elbow resting across his face. He refused to take some of their co-workers help ths time, wether they were near death or not. No, he'll figure this one out on his own.

He held back a groan a Clopin kept bringing Jim up, for the moment despising the man's annoying yet very entertaining ability. In Loki's current state, he wouldn't be able to block out anything. It made him worry about the possibiliets of Clopin finding out about his other secrets he still wanted to stay hidden.
His eyes widend though as he heard about the sticthes, and might've as well drowned in in guilt. I hurt him that bad? he thoguth worridley, turning on the couch so he had his back facing the Jester, wanting to curl in on himself.
Clopin would for sure be dissapointed in him once he'll figure out Loki 'borrowed' Jim's powers, which was another reason for Loki's current weak condition. Electrokinesis just weren't meant for him.
The lights isnide the hide-out then started to flicker suddenly, and Loki let out a small whine of pain as he felt another nosebleed coming on. Well fuck... so much for keeping that away from Clo...

Clopin slightly chuckled a bit as the younger male began to scarf down the strawberry pancake eagerly. Though it worried him a bit to see that the trickster had to cover his mouth, looking a bit sickly. Oh boy. What did you do Loki, Clopin thought to himself as he watched as the younger male began to inhale a few times before laying back down on the couch. His eyebrow twitched slightly as the male firmly rejected Clopin’s help before he could even suggest any help. “Are you sure? Because I’m not entirely sure what would’ve happened to you if I hadn’t found you in the alley way in your condition.” Clopin retorted in a serious tone as he towered over the young male.

He quirked an eyebrow as the male’s eyes widened at the mention of Jimbo getting stitches. Seems like the trickster hadn’t known that little fact though. But by seeing the younger male turn on his side, his back to Clopin meant that he had a little part in the incident with Jim getting stitches. Oh what had his troublemakers been up to this past week? The jester quickly looked up as the lights in the hideout began to flicker suddenly, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. His electricity in this place was beyond perfect due to Clopin keeping his hideout a perfect place to stay in for a while. He quickly glanced down at the young trickster, who had made a small whine of pain.

The jester suddenly added those two things together, his eyes narrowing down at the trickster. He reached out, gripped the male’s shoulder and pulling him over. His eyes widening at the sight of the nosebleed coming out. “You…didn’t…Loki…” he murmured, shaking his head as he shifted through into Loki’s mind, quickly capturing the pieces of information of the incident with Jim. So that’s what happened, Clopin thought to his self as he grimaced a bit. “No wonder Jimbo hasn’t come around. No wonder your health is in shambles right now too!” he quickly proclaimed in a serious, urgent tone.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 9:11 pm

"I'm certain," Loki assured the grown man in a harsh, firm tone, ending that topic right then and there with that. Loki would just find some other poor bastards he disliked (which there was quite a fair share of in this city) and be sure to give their health before they'd dropp dead. He shouldbe to do that, right...? After all these years, he must've learned some sort of control over this weird abilty that kept developing on it's own.
Though Clopin did have a point of course. If he hadn't been the one to find him before (like fhe did five years ago in much similiar way), who know what could'v happend to the trickster this time. His own safety and luck weren't safe from the trouble he kept attracking afterall.

As he felt the blood begin trail over his lips, he tried to quickly wipe it off, but moved his hand ocne second to late before feleing Clopin's hand on his shoulder and pulling him over. He could only sigh and admit defeat, trying to ignore that discomfoting feeling of someone else being inside his head. The guilt he already for Jim only grew at the sight of Clopin's grimace, and could only look away from the man wordlessly. What mor was ther to say anyway, now that he knew everything. Loki felt himself tense up a bit at the other's urget and serious tone, something that was more thna enough to set off the warning alarms in his head that this, was infact, bad. Bad enough to make Clopin sound worried, and dissapointed in him.
"My health would end up in shambles either way," he said tiredly, feeling more exhausted by the minute. His eyelids were beginning to feel a little to heavy to keep open.
"I... didn't mean to do it," he murmured in a quieter voice, referring to the whole 'borrowing Jim's powers' thing, or hurting him in general.
The nosebleed wasn't stopping.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 9:31 pm

Clopin rolled his eyes a bit, but kept his mouth shut about the whole health subject. If the kid wanted to be a stubborn ass about it. Then so be it. If the trickster didn’t want this help, he’d probably find one of his tormentors and take their health probably. The world wouldn’t miss one of those probably.

“Well you’re the one who increased your health’s decrease rate into shambles. With that idiotic fight with Jimbo.” He retorted back to the young trickster, shaking his head. He wasn’t sure what else to say to the younger male. He didn’t know the whole thing behind the fight really. He had been sensing some tension between the two males a bit often. But it hadn’t been much to worry about really. He’d been wrong about that, big time. Clopin sighed softly as he grabbed a few napkins from the table beside the couch as he pressed one of the napkins against the trickster’s nose to try and stop the bleeding. “Then why did you do it, then?” the jester asked in a worried tone before lifting his head up to the sound of footsteps heading down the stairs behind him. Well this wasn’t going to end well.

“Oi! Jester! Next time you want to get my attention, send something that won’t try to peck out my eyes!” A moody voice called out as the steps began to get nearer and nearer down the bottom of the stairs before the older troublemaker had reached the bottom of the stairs with a blue sparrow following after him. At the sight of Loki, he came to a complete stop, frozen in place at the bottom of the stairs. A small patch on the near side of Jim’s head could be visibly seen.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeSun Mar 01, 2015 10:04 pm

Loki's frown deepend, and just wanted to get off of the couch and lock himself up somehere, alone. Where he could ignore all his porblems and just sleep, fade away to a place in his mnid where he could fool himself that everything was still fine. But he lacked the energy to get his legs to move, and if he did get up he doubted his legs would be able to keep him up at this point.
His attention snapped back to Clopin however, and silently let the man take care of his dman nosebleed. Maybe I've just lost to much blood, he thought to himself, wanting to laugh at that but was unable too. Sitting there, having someone else treating his wounds, unwittingly brought him back to a time long passed.
"Why did you do that, Lukas?"
Loki averted his eyes from his guardian and rescuer, feeling something he thought he thought he was compelltey unable to. Shame.

"I..." he began to say, but stopped short when the other and very familiar voice cut in, followed by the steps comming down the stairs. Loki could only at first stare wide eyed at older teen. looking just as frozen as Jim currently was. Green eyes immediently locked on the patch on Jim's head, and had to be the first to look away. He stared blankly at the man infront of him, somthing else more thna just anger washing over his expression.
Why is he here now? His eyes seemed to scream, grabbing hold of the tissue still pressed agaisnt his nose while leaning away from Clopin. Biting his tounge to hold back a groan of pain, he forced his legs to move and stood up. "I'm gonna take a nap," he said in blank tone and began to move, acting as if he wans't currently trying to stop a massive nosebleed or walking on trembling legs.

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 1:54 am

Clopin just simply attended to the younger male's nosebleed, seeing that the male was letting him do so. He sighed softly a bit as the male just averted his gaze from him. It didn't bother the jester much. What did bother him was the silence once Jim had arrived. And how the trickster looked at him with such an expression. Clipping just shrugged his shoulders "I sent both birds after you two at the same time." He remarked out, referring to the fact that he did it before knowing what happened between the two troublemakers. ]"Besides it only pecked you because you were ignoring it."

Jim wasn't sure of what to do in this situation. He wanted to walk back up these stairs and out of this place. While on the other hand, he just wanted to walk into the hideout like normally. His electric blue gaze met the shocked green gaze, until the trickster had looked away first. The older troublemaker didn't speak, but a flash of worry appeared in his eyes at the sight of the nosebleed, before it disappeared quickly. He scowled a bit over at the jester then over at the wobbly legged trickster. He stalked towards Loki, pressing against the tricksters chest lightly enough to send him back onto the couch. "Sit." He firmly stated, before walking away towards the counter and sitting down at one of the stools. The male said something about needing to be alone, yet Jim finds him here at the hideout with the jester. Now that thought was starting to piss him off. He scoffed a bit as the jester commented something out loud, "Such a lovely reunion."

PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 10:18 am

Loki almost drew back in alarm when Jim suddenly stalked towards him, kinda expecting a fist to the face, but only scowled in annoyance as he was pushed to sit back down on the couch. "Oh come on," he whined under his breathe, his back heavily hitting the cushions, now fully aware that he wouldn't have any energy to get back up any time soon. And he had actully meant what he said, honestly about to just go take a nap in the more vacant part of the hideout.

Glaring tiredly between his friend and mentor, Loki could only sigh in defeat, pressing the napkin more firmly against his bleeding nose. He wasn't mentally prepared for this yet, and these lovely powers he borrowed where strongly affected by his emotions, not exactly helping his current state and shitty health. Was it this annoying for Jim too? Or did only the grumpy teen's bad temper affect his powers...
"...how's your head?" he finally asked then, looking so very tired as he glanced up at Jim.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 4:00 pm

Clopin watched as the young trickster had drew back in alarm as Jim started to approach him. The jester didn’t really expect the older troublemaker to harm the trickster. Especially in front of him. But he did know that Jimbo wouldn’t try to harm his friend, despite what happened between them. Words and silence would be worse than violence. And the fact that the trickster looked completely like shit right now was a factor. “Taking a nap in your condition would just make matters worse.” Clopin warned the younger male, giving him a bright grin as well.

The trickster seriously needed to use his other powers soon. “Don’t do anything else that you’d regret.” He added before glancing down at the napkins in the trickster’s hand with a grimace. He walked around the counter toward the sink to get a wet cloth for the trickster to use instead of napkins. Oh how he hated serious situations such as this. It always got him in a serious mood, and he’d had enough of being serious in his past.

Jim paused for a moment as he glanced behind his shoulder over at Loki, flinching for a moment at the sight of his tired gaze. He brought up his hand as he slightly touched the small patch on his head. “Fine. Just a few stitches due to Milo freaking out and forcing me to head to the hospital.” He answered, shrugging his shoulders slightly. Though his cousin didn’t know the whole truth due to Jim avoiding the male’s touch. He just told him there was a fight and that was the end of the story. His electric blue eyes made contact once again with Loki’s green eyes immediately. “What about you? You wanted to be alone….and this is the result? You looking like this?” he questioned the younger male, his comment laced with worry and anger. What had happened to the trickster after that incident between them? The question was really gnawing at him.

Clopin just shook his head a bit as he watched the two males stare at each other. He had the right mind to stick the two little troublemakers into a closet and lock them in there. And leave in there for a while.  The consequences might be catastrophic or actually work in one of the two male’s favor. He liked those odds. But the young trickster wasn’t really in any kind of health to deal with stress. So that idea was out the door for now.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 4:35 pm

Loki knew Clopin had a point, but a nap still sounded like a good idea to the trickster. Pretty much anything sounded better than having to sit here at that moment, with Jim's electric blue eyes demanding an explanation.
He tried returning the Jester a bright grin, hating as well how serious this situation turned out to be as much as him, but the smile lacked that typical playfulness and spark. Somehow, it just showed more how out of it he in reality was.
He mumbked out a quiet 'thanks' when Clopin handed him the wet cloth to use instead, ignoring the blood smeared out on his fingertips.
It's in my genes to fuck things up, he thought grimply, eyes narrowing as he stared down at his lap instead, now sitting hunched forward with his elbows resting on his knees.

He hated that big lump of guilt, which only grew whenever Jim opend his muth it would seem. The trickster had, in one way, actullys ent the odler to the freaken hospital, the one place he loathed almsot as much as his old 'home'. Wonder how much Milo knew about all this, since Loki had a hunch that Jim had tried to avoid contact as much as possible with his cousin.
And there came the unavodable question, of course laced with anger... and worry? "Not the first time I've looked like shit," Loki pointed out tiredly, leaning his weight back agaisnt the chusions instead. Of course, Jim doesn't know about Loki recurring 'illness' so to say, and had therefor not exactly seen him in the current condition.
"...I'm sorry, I went overboard," he spoke then with sincerity, sounding so much younger than he already was. Just a few seconds after finishing his sentence, a light burst somehwere in the hide-out, making loki growl quielty and pressing the cloth even harder agaisnt his nose. Remind him to never borrow powers like this again.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 5:27 pm

Clopin grimaced a bit as the young trickster had tried to give him a bright grin in return. But it didn’t have that spark that was always there on the trickster’s expression. Oh yes. The trickster was really out of it. And the jester really hated to see him like this as well.

Jim rolled his eyes at the trickster’s remark, scowling a bit. “So sorry that I hadn’t gotten the luck to see you look like shit.” Usually when he’d been around the trickster, Jim had always had the younger male protected. At first due to Clopin’s orders for him, but once Jim got to know the trickster better and became fond of him, he did it on instinct. The male was his friend after all. Though their relationship was still shaky from that incident in the alley way. He might still be physically hurt, but his emotional wounds burned even worse after that betrayal.

He flinched a bit though as the male apologized in a somewhat younger tone, causing the older male to take another once over the male’s condition. He’s really not himself, Jim thought to himself before jerking his head in attention to the sound of a light bursting a few seconds after Loki’s apology. His gaze slowly returned and settled back onto Loki with a look of concern. His power was very powerful and tricky to work with. And it being one of Loki’s borrowed powers was not a good thing. Even Jim couldn’t control his powers sometimes. His first time was such a blast…literally. “Now…that time. Wasn’t my fault, Jester.” Jim remarked, jabbing his finger in the direction of the light burst.  Clopin just rolled his eyes at the younger male. “Well done. Practically 1000 light busts for you and 1 for Loki. Good for you.” Clopin remarked in a sarcastic tone, clapping his hands in a mocking way. Jim scoffed a bit as Clopin just mocked him for the remark. “Don’t got to be an ass.” He grumbled under his breath, noticing that the trickster had pressed the wet cloth more onto his nosebleed. “How long till you have my power? Seems like it’s kicking your ass right now.” He commented with a slight grimace.

“I’ll accept your apology. Even if I still don’t even know why you were pissed off at me either way.” He grumbled in annoyance as he hopped off the stool, heading over towards Loki. “Also take in mind the consequences of your damn power.” Jim added, referring to how his power was seemingly affecting the younger male.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 6:09 pm

Loki chuckled dryly. "Don't be sorry, half the towns citiznes would pay good money to see me like this, consider yourself lucky."
He was well aware of how low that was to say, especially to Jim of a people, who remaind to be one of the few who still gave a crap of his well being. Even after what Loki had done to him...
He knw Jim had only really 'protected' him beacuse Clopin, and at first Loki hadn't cared. None of them ahd really known eahc other back then, but over time it had turned to something so obvious and and natural for them both to look out for each other. No questions asked, it's just the way it was.

With his head thrown backwards, and cloth still covering his nose, Loki wanted to laugh at Clopin's remark to Jim, but honestly couldn't. His face was starting to feel numb, as did the rest of his body. Seriously, had it been this bad the first time he went throguh this 'phase'? No, it had been worse. He had pretty much been in a coma.
He mutterd something to himself at Jim's oh so obvious statement, grimacing as well. "I don't know," he murmured. "It always varies, or depends... Since it's 'kicking my ass', probably not for much longer."
Loki felt the same anger and frustration return from their last encounter, and had to bite his tounge before spitting out the wrong thing and making this whole mess worse. Did they really need to have this conversation now?
Again, he felt the need to get up and leave when Jim headed towards him, but his legs still refused to work and could only therefor lean more back against the couch, as if trying to sink in through it.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 9:39 pm

Jim’s shoulders slightly slumped a bit, as he paused in his movement towards Loki. “I don’t want to be lucky…” he muttered under his breath in distaste as he just resumed on walking towards the trickster. That was just wonderful. Put more salt in the wound, why don’t ya. Jim had thought to himself about Loki’s remark, wanting to punch the male for it. He still cared about the kid even after that incident and the trickster still had to act like a little asshole too.

He grimaced a bit as he stopped before the trickster on the couch, taking in the trickster’s appearance. The trickster was really starting to look paler and paler by the minute. He glanced over at Clopin, asking, “I’ve never seen him like this from just borrowing powers. Is something else going on?” His power couldn’t be the only reason by the male’s crashing health.  The Jester looked from Jim to Loki, then back to the older troublemaker. “There are some things that I’m not allowed to say. Unless we want that nosebleed of his to worsen.” Clopin paused for a moment before sighing. “He has some drugs in his system as well.” He added in quick little quip.

Quickly the older male’s expression twisted a bit at the mention of drugs. He really begun to hope it wasn’t those same damn drugs that he had tossed back to the trickster during that incident. Jim should’ve had just taken it or ruin it somehow. One little factor change could do wonder on a person. “Got to be kidding me,” Jim muttered, swishing away those thoughts as he started to notice that the trickster’s cloth was soaking up a lot of blood. He felt something nudge at his side and saw that the Jester was handing him another wet cloth. Jim quickly thanked the man before leaning down, taking the used cloth out of Loki’s grasp before covering the nosebleed up with the other cloth using his other hand. “Don’t you dare slap my hand away….You’re not suppose to push friends away either.” He grumbled as he glared down at the younger male.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeMon Mar 02, 2015 11:24 pm

Loki's whole body tensed up this time at Jim's observation, quickly glancing over at Clopin in worry when the older troublemaker asked him what was going on, pleading with his eyes when Jim couldn't see to 'please, don't tell him'. The trickster let out a heavy breathe when the Jester didn't reveal anything, and for the first time that day felt himself relax a little. However, that short moment of peace was quickly thrown out the window when the fact of drugs still being in his systems was brought up, and only glared tiredly at his feet. He ebt Jim was regretting just hiding it to him back at the alley now, when he instead could've just kept it away from the trickster. Again, it wasn't any of Jim's business what he did!
Even as he told himself this, the older teen's twisted expression just made him feel worse, and wished there was some way he could throw up the guilt instead of his lunch.

He blinked, giving Jim a questioning and annoyed look when he removed the blood soaked cloth from his face, and was about to tell him to back off, but stopped when he realized the others intentions. His hand twitched, resisting the urge of wanting to slapp Jim's hand away or push the other back completely. Why... why do you keep comming back...?
He only had the engery to return the glare for a coule of seconds before his vision blurred, and his body began to sway slightly before suddely falling towards Jim.
He let out a moan of pain, his hands shooting out and desperatly grabbing hold of whatever they could, which in that moment happend to be other brunette. He was had began to tremble, and couldn't tell if he was either warm or freezing as he broke out into a cold sweat. He clung tighter unto Jim, and rapidly started to mutter out incomprehensible rambles, some mostly in norwegian or icelandic, and on few occastions in english. The few words the other two would be able to catch were pherhaps 'No', 'I can't', or 'please'.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 5:44 pm

Jim glared right straight back at the younger male, until blinking a bit in surprise as the younger male started to sway. He looked startled as the younger male started to sway and fall towards him. "L-Loki?" The older male wasn’t sure what to do when he had caught the trickster, who had grabbed a hold of him as well. He couldn’t even understand what the younger male was even muttering except for barely a few words. But what he could understand was that something was extremely wrong with his friend, especially by feeling the male’s cold sweat b bring his the back of his palm to the male’s cheek. Jim quickly turned his head to the Jester, remarking “He needs medical attention, dammit!” Seeing his friend in this much distress was starting to make him feel ice cold with fear.

Clopin cursed under his breath, seeing as the trickster swayed into Jim and breaking out in a cold sweat. “I know what he needs. But he’s going to be a stubborn ass about it.” He grimaced darkly as he stared down at the young trickster with an unsure gaze. He took a deep breath before breathing out in a slow shaky way. “We’ve really need to get you to one of them right now. If not, you’ll seriously ruin things for yourself.” Clopin remarked to the trickster in a sharp, worried tone. As he said this, he hoped that the trickster knew what he meant by ruining things for himself. Even if the male didn’t want to admit anything. The Jester could see that the younger male cared for Jim. Right now the kind of feelings didn’t care to Clopin. He just wondered what the trickster would do without the older troublemaker. And the same for Jimbo, who seemed to worry about the trickster after what Loki had done. ‘More harm will be done if you don’t use your powers,', Clopin mentally hoped that trickster would see in his gaze.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 6:33 pm

Even in his current state, somehow Loki had managed to hear what Clopin said. His head shot up, eyes wide in alarm and a desperate plea in them as he just shaked his head towards the older. "No," he spoke as firmly as he could, trying to still sound strong despite the trembling in his voice. His grippon Jim tightened, and his vision only showed him blurred out shapes of different colors. "No, don't make me-" he began to speak again, but got cut off by the pain shooting out through his entire body. He inhaled deeply, and had to lower his head again, unconsciously leaning further into Jim's embrace. "Please don't make me do this..." he pleaded in a quiter voice, forcing his head up slowly until his eyes locked with Jim's. "Please."

He just shaked his head sturbbornly as Clopin kept talking, hating the fact that the man was right. But there was still time! This was just one of the first steps before he'd be in mortal danger.... he thinks. He didn't ned to sue his powers yet, he just...If they could just find something to numb his pain with, Loki could still buy himself some more time before really having to use his abilites.
His gaze moved over to Clopin's, shaking his head again but much slower than before. 'Not with Jim here,' he thought, hoping Clopin would catch it. 'Don't let Jim see this...'

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 7:06 pm

Jim looked from both of the males, confused a bit over the whole situation. What was going on? Was there something that he was missing here? The older troublemaker really felt like the odd man out of this conversation. “Are you talking about the hospital?” he questioned in a befuddled tone, glancing back down at Loki with a worried expression. His eyebrow twitching a bit as the male had firmly stated against the Jester’s remark. “You shouldn’t be refusing anything in your condition.” He muttered under his breath, before cursing softly as he watched the younger male’s actions and flinched at seeing his friend in so much pain. “Don’t make you do what?" he asked, tensing as the younger male locked pleading eyes with him. There was that ice cold feeling washing over him once again.

Clopin gave the younger male a disapproving stare as the trickster kept on refusing what he had suggested. His gaze shifted over to the older troublemaker, who seems unsure of what was going on. As much as the Jester wanted to include Jimbo into the situation, he just couldn’t. The trickster wouldn’t want either of them to help him then. And Clopin wasn’t sure of how Jim would react to the younger male’s other power. The only reason to why he knew about the power was when he had stumbled upon the healthy Loki and dead co-worker that day. Do what you have to do to survive, Clopin thought to his self on that day.

The Jester soon enough caught the trickster’s pleading gaze, before trailing his gaze back onto the older troublemaker. That was all that Clopin needed to see. He walked over close to the two males, pulling Loki out of the older male’s embrace as he gave Jim a slim grimace. “I’ve got to ask for you to step outside. And don’t even question what I say or what happens later on. There are things that do not need to be explained yet.” He firmly informed the older trouble maker as he gestured his head to the stairs. “There’s no way! He needs medical attention, Jester!” Jim growled as he stood his ground against the older man, his gaze shifted over to Loki with worry then back to the Jester with anger. A mixture of blue and red aura surrounded the Jester as his gaze steeled upon the sight of Jim standing his ground and questioning him already. “Hardheaded idiot.” He muttered under his breath as his eyes were turning a dark violet color. “Either you do as I say. Or I will make you. You know my illusions…can harm if I wanted them to.” Clopin sternly stated in a warning laced tone. Usually his illusions were harmless. But if the Jester’s emotion was strong enough, he could make them do such harm. “I know what he needs.” He added in a firm tone.

The older troublemaker took a step back at the sight of the aura, clenching his fists tightly before unclenching them slowly. “Fine. You best be right.” He growled lowly before hesitantly turning around and heading back up the stairs of the hideout. Jim felt tense and ice cold all over as he slammed the door behind him. Then leaned against the door for support. Why did he have to stay out here while his friend was hurting in there? "It doesn't make sense," he murmured to himself softly.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 7:41 pm

Even if Loki had been the one to ask for it, he couldn't help but try to hold on even tighter to Jim as Clopin pulled him away, almost afraid of letting go. But he did in the end, in another desperate attempt of getting a hold of himself, and forced to inhale a couple of deep breathes. He needed to calm down, get a damn gripp and focus. He may lack strenght in the physical manner and have the weakest body structure in human history, but his willpower and stubbornes often made up for the rest that he lacked in.

He leaned towards the Jester as the two argued, his exahusted eyes only able to see the blurry image of Jim. He wanted to say something, a typical smart-ass comment to assure the older hat he'd be fine. But every word or attempt at making a sound died in his dry throat.
Feeling a familiar and threating aura suddenly surrond Clopin, Loki couldn't contain a small shudder, knowing almost exactly how 'mad' this person surrporting him could get if pushed enough. Something that even could frighten the trickster to tears.

As he watched Jim give and step outside the hide-out, Loki let out another deep breathe and slumped even more agaisnt the older man now holding him, slowly wrapping two tremblingarms aournd his torso. "Clo... please don't make me do this... not now," he pleaded quietly against the man's chest, hiding his expression from the other. "The pain will go away soon... I can handle it, it's not the first time..." he trailed off as another wave of pain hit him and had to bite his lip to not make another sound. "Just... trust me on this..." he tried again, the desperation so painfully clear in his small voice.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 8:38 pm

Clopin’s eyes returned to normal as he watched as the older troublemaker finally leave out the hideout. He was a bit relieved to have not had to have harmed the troublemaker. Especially in front of Loki. Now that would’ve just added more trouble to the situation. He felt a pair of arms wrap around his torse, causing him to glance down to see that it was the young trickster. The jester couldn’t help but grimace as the younger male pleaded against his chest. It was odd and devastating to see the young trickster in such a shape. Especially to see that the trickster didn’t even want to show his face to him. “I’m not waiting till you’re on the brink of death.” He firmly stated as he picked up the younger male easily as he pulled the male’s arm form around him to get a hold of him. He couldn’t help but flinched at the desperation in the male’s tone, but quickly shook of the guilt. “And I trusted you to not borrow a power as powerful as this. And you broke it.” Clopin retorted in matter of fact tone. Not including the trust that the trickster had broken with Jim as well. Now that would be too harsh in this situation.

He then carried the younger male through the hideout towards a long narrow black door, which the Jester quickly opened and entered through the passageway out up to the streets of Japan town, behind the back of the building which the hideout resided down in. He ignored a few of the people who were just lying curled up on the concrete ground near the buildings. The Jester didn’t want the trickster to take the health of some druggie. The kid already had a thing about drugs. Clopin glanced around the streets of downtown, immediately spotting the place that he had been searching for. The Jester hesitantly walked towards the broken down building, entering it as well. “Clarice.” He murmured out into the darkness, waiting patiently before a woman around her 40’s had walked out of the shadows with a small smile. “You finally said my name…This means it’s my time, right?” she murmured out softly, a smile formed upon her sullen face. “I can finally see them.” She murmured to herself in a shaky tone as she saw that the Jester had nodded his head in response to her question.  Clopin
sighed softly as he took a glance over the woman.

She had been such a happy soul the first time that he had met her on the streets. But she had been surrounded by family and friends. Though now those family members and friends had been diminished by the military due to their powers and some trying to protect the others. She had been the only one left to escape such a massacre due to the help of her injured…well now deceased brother. Clarice believed that there was no place in this world for her. That her place was with her family. The only reason to her survival was due to Clopin’s protection and help. But she knew without the male, she’d just perish away either way. Her wish was for death, which was the only way to be with her family and friends in her mind. No matter how hard Clopin tried to persuade her.

It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim]   It's a bloodsport [Clopin/Jim] Icon_minitimeTue Mar 03, 2015 9:19 pm

The trickster couldn't find anything else to say at this point, knowing it was meaningless to argue with the Jester. As much as the man stated to know what was best, Loki for once, couldn't agree with him. Best for his health, chances of surviing? Then, sure, yeah. But not for the trickster already crumbling mind. It's not that he really cared for the people he hurt or fell victim to his powers, no he was to selfish for that... As much as he enjoyed living, that didn't mean he enjoyd taking someone elses life to prolong his own. It remined him of the 'failed experiment' that he was, of what a waste of time and dissapointent he turned out to be.
He was helpless, useless. A cast-away and failed project.
He closed his eyes as they started to stung, pressing his forhead against Clopin's shoulder as the man carried him off. I don't want to be dependant on ''stealing''.

Loki blinked a couple of times when they reached their destination, trying to see insdie the dark and broekn down building they had enterd. At first, he simply gave the woman who appeard out of the shadows a tired look, only tensing up in fear when she began to speak. Panic hit the small teen, and immediently he tried to wriggle himself free from the Jester's hold on him. No, he thought with anger and disgust as he cast a quick look at woman. No, no, no!
He gave Clopin another pleading look, glancing between the two people and the exict in growing panic and anger while trying to find the sreanght to get free. His whole body was partically screaming in pain, and the blood had begun to trail down both his nose and mouth once again, but he didn't care. He just needed to get out of there, to somewhere.... someone who could help him...

Jim.

Realiztation hit the trickster, and felt a small welling hope at just the thought of the older troublemaker who now matter what Loki did to him, had the younger's back. Jim would help him, right? He always did.
But the still clear part of his mind reached out, forcing him to realize that he was just being stuipid at this point. Jim wans't there, and if he wanted to keep on living for another couple years, he would have to go through with this.
Loki then went compeltley still, just inhaling deeply with his back still turned to the sad woman awating her faith. "Please Clopin," he tried one last time. "Please no."
