Down With The Bottle [Jim & Loki]

Nana rolled her eyes at Loki's explanation.  She placed an open cigarette paper on the table and picked up the little brown lump, flicking the lighter on she moved it back and forth under it for a few seconds. She raised an eyebrow at Jim's comment, crumbling the burnt base of the lump and spreading it evenly into the ciggerette papers. "It's not nice to talk about someone like they aren't here." She growled, dropping the lump back into the tin and doing the same thing with the tobacco.

Loki srhugged, giving Jim a sorta sheepish smile but not looking sorry at all. If the trickster had told the older about this little detail, then surely Jim wouldn't even had tagged along. "She's still Lena, only instead of that bubbling cuteness there's bloodthrist and anger issues," he smiled excitedly while nomming on another slice of pizza. "Pretty much like you~"
Green eyes returend to the redhead, partly intressted on the brown lump but more so on in the girl herself. Even with the same face, 'Nana' was completley different to look at comared to 'Lena'. How could one simply not be fascinated by her?

He glanced between his company, comfortably leaning back against the cushion as he silently observed their actions. I should've probably considerd the possibility of bloodshed, Loki thought to himself as he watched the two, already well aware of Jim's bad temper. And Nana wouldn't give a crap if she pissed him of or not, and neither would she be frightened... Hmmm.
Honestly, these two just appeard more alike the other the more he thought about it.

Jim glanced over at Nana, shrugging his shoulders lazily. “I’m not nice. I’m an asshole.” Jim responded to her comment, scowling a bit. Even though Lena had been the one that he had told this too. Surely the other damn personality could hear as well, but just not show up.


His eyebrow raised as Loki referred to Nana being bloodthirsty and having anger issues. “…And you expect two temperamental people to just get along?” Jim sighed out in annoyance, shaking his head at seeing that the trickster was just so giddy over the situation. He was getting along with Lena, amused a bit by her bubbly personality and finding it cute. Now he wasn’t so sure about Nana, knowing that she could get angry easily as him. And Jim wasn’t fond of others snapping at him. He wasn’t even sure how Nana treated Loki, except for calling the male dickweed.  “Also..why do you look so giddy?” Jim questioned the male as Loki just observed both him and Nana.

Just because you're an asshole doesn't mean you need to be a buzz kill. " Nana muttered, rolling up the paper and licking the edge to seal it. Whatever way she looked at it, that Jim kid wasblatantly unhappy to be there, not that she cared of course, it just ddidn't appeal to be on the presence of someone who didn't want her company. More often than not that kind of behaviour tended to end in a broke bone, but the idiot was Loki's friend, and for all he irked her she had found herself growing fond of his antics, and he made the ridiculousness of high school somewhat bearable.

She waved the joint in the air and turned to Loki. "Want one?" she asked, already starting on another. Even if he said no, it would save her time rolling one later.

Loki's grin didn't falter at Jim's annoyed question. Like the older teen really had to ask. "Of course I don't," he said matter of factly. "Just wanted two of my favourite peple to meet," he said happily, offering Jim another bottle he had just opened. "And this way, you'll be more prepared when I introduce her to Clo," he added gleefully, already more than sure the Jester would like his new friend. 
As much as Loki enjoyed trouble and any form of chaos, he actully was hoping a little that the two would get along. Well, tolerate each to her to be exact, as long as they didn't kill the other off. "I'm having a good time," he casually replied Jim's other question, back to smiling foundly at the redhead. 
Since Nana had yet to break the older teen's nose, Loki figured she was kinda trying not to start anything, despite still having that rude attitude of hers. She was being 'nice' in her own way. Still... For how long could the two tempremental teens tolerate the other without  brealing something? That'd be entertaining to watch for sure.

"Thanks," he smirked at the offerd joint and took it without hestation. Maybe it was just the alcohol. or Nana had actully started to warm up to him. Either way, the small gesture put him in an even better mood. Wonder if Lena's ever tried this, he absently thought, almost feeling a little guilty at that. That worry quickly faded though, as pretty much expected.
"Gotta light it for me," he added, waving the joint a little infront of her fave before placing it in his mouth, patiently waiting for her light it.

Jim just literally wanted to face palm at the male's response to his question. Of course. Why did he even ask such a question of the trickster. He eyed the bottle a bit, before throwing a glare over Nana's way before taking the bottle out of Loki's grasp. He opened this one up as he leaned back against the couch, taking a swig. "Does it look like I care that I'm acting like a buzz kill?" he grumbled under his breath. He shook his head a bit, chuckling slightly at Loki's remark of introducing her to Clopin. "He might take delight in her. Though not sure she'd like someone crazier than you," Jim commented with an amused grin. His nose wrinkled a bit as the trickster smiled foundly over at the red head. But shook off the weird feeling in his chest. 

His eyebrows raised a bit as the girl offered Loki the joint, who took it without any hesitation. Only alcohol and pizza was to be in his stomach today. Nothing else. Jim didn't say anything to the trickster about the joint. He wasn't in charge of Loki's life. Even though his friend was about to get high as a kite.

Nana shrugged as she finished making up the second joint. "The only people who aren't crazy are the ones who find it easy to forget." She said, a distant look crossing over her face. She had heard enough talk of split personalities over the last year and a half to stop giving a shit if people thought she was crazy, hell maybe she was. It would explain the big gaps of nothing she used to try so hard to stitch together. There had been months on end when she wished she could swap those blank spaces, whatever they were, for the things she did remember.

She rolled her eyes at Loki. "Too lazy to reach over and grab a lighter?" She asked sarcastically, standing up and putting her own roll up in between her lips, she knelt on the table top with one knee, using a hand to steady herself, leaning over the with her whole body to bring their faces closer together. Nana flicked the lighter on, holding the one flame to light them both.

Her eyes blue grey locked on Loki's, a darking little smirk playing across her lips, as she drew in a breath through the join, seeing the ember's crawl upward slightly, a familiar sting in her throat and lungs.

When Lena got that distant look on her face, pretty much the same look wasched over Loki's expression as well. "The only people who aren't crazy are the ones who find it easy to forget." Her words echoed inside his mind for s short moment, leaving the trickster silent as he got lost in his own thoughts and old, unwanted memories. He was more than certain now, that one of the many reasons he felt so drawn to this peculiar redhead, was the familiarity he felt whenever around her. She remined him a little of himself, and was also a comfort... A reassurance, that maybe it wasn't just him who was fucked up, or perhaps the world around them was instead. 

His smirk was naturally back again after that short moment of thought though, giving Lena a wink from across the table. "Whenever it benefits me, yes~," he replied to her sarcastic question. As she moved and leaned ontop the table top, he leaned forward as well, smiling cheerfully the whole time, obviously enjoying their shared closeness. He returned her little dark smirk as their eyes met, inhailing deeply as well and closing his eyes for a second as he felt that familair sting crawl down his throat. 
However, he then found it hard to enjoy that little moment when he felt eyes boring into him, and suddenly felt a little self-conscious... if not even nervous to turn his head and face Jim. What's his problem, he mentally scowled, pulling away from Lena and leaned back against the cushions, watching the smoke float up infrot o his face as he breathed out. 

"Here ya go Teddy," he said then all nonchallantly, giving Jim a smile as he pressed the joint agains't his lips. "Try it."

Jim wasn't quite sure to what he thought of what Nana said. But all he knew was that both Loki and the female had gone completely distant and quiet. Well that's a bit alarming, Jim thought to himself as he gazed over at them with a confused expression. But that was quickly shattered once Nana spoke up in a sarcastic tone, directing her comment to Loki's earlier remark. Then his eyes widened at the sight of Nana leaning over to Loki closely, as her hand used the table as leverage. He didn't understand what that sour feeling inside of him right now at this sight. He bit his lip harshly as he felt the surge of electricity throughout his body wanting to escape. But he fought against the surge in a quick swift action. They were just too close for his liking. He was feeling so irritated..and what was the other emotion? People would call it jealousy...but that didn't make any sense. It was just his friend and some girl with a split personality. 

The surge lowered down as he noticed that Loki had pulled away from Nana and leaned back against the cushions. Jim's nose wrinkled a bit at the sight of the smoke floating in front of the male's face. His eyebrow twitched a bit as the male called him Teddy once more before feeling the joint pressed against his lips. Jim held back his retort against the male, before hesitantly doing what the others had did with their joints. Jim jerked his head back and started coughing a bit due to the sting in his throat. "Shit, that's awful!" Jim coughed out before taking a swig of the bottle, trying to soothe his throat. "I'm sticking to the liquor and pizza." Jim grumbled out, as he glared over at the joint in distaste.

Nana didnt notice Loki slouch away from her, instead she closed her eyes, leaning her head back and breathing in deep. The smoke filled her lungs and she held it for a moment, letting the haze of calm wash over her as the alcohol in her system amplified the effects.  She puckered her lips, blowing a steady stream of smoke to the ceiling. 

Nana chuckled, getting off of the table and circling back around the couch towards her bed."It's always harsh the first time you try it." She said, climbing onto the bed and sliding her window open. A chill breeze swirled around her as she straddled the windowsill, one foot keeping balance on her bed, the other hanging free in the night air. "Though I hadn't taken you for a wimp." Nana teased, the hostility in her voice all but gone. She brought the joint to her lips and inhaled a little more. This is why she got hash, when she could, it brought a stillness to the storm that raged inside her. Where her blood usually boiled instead it flowed like a peaceful river, her restlessness became a different kind, her mind focused on many things where it usually refused to focus at all.

Loki chuckled at his friend's action, a mix of both teasing and foundness. Guess Jim would have better chances if it'd been a drinking contest instead. Which they totally should have, now that the trickster thought about it. Not having Jim glaring into the back of his head was also helping the mood and tension, for now that is.
"More for me then," he simply shrugged, bringin the join back to his lips and inhaled deeply, this time holding the smoke in for a longer time before blowing the steam out. Not that he was neer relaxed or calm, but this thing made him care less and for a blissful moment forget the thoughts and recent events that's been keeping him up at night. 

He didn't chuckle this time when Nana teased Jim, just smirked barely to himself. These two are just too adroable, he thought mildly amused, wondering how violent they could get if he were to stand up and leave the room.
Sighing softly, Loki reached over and grabbed a still unopend bottle before sloshed back ontp the couch. Only this time, he instead decided to occupy Nana's spot as well, and used Jim's lap as his head pillow. "Here ya go Ted," he said brightly, lifting up the bottle he just grabbed and offering it to his friend. "One of your favourites~"

Jim rolled his eyes at his friend’s comment before quickly glancing over at Lena. “I’d rather deal with the harshness of alcohol rather than that.” He grumbled, taking a swig of the alcohol. He clenched his teeth tightly at her wimp comment immediately. She only meant to tease him, but in Jim’s mind, she was just giving Loki more reason to call him some damn teddy bear. And that nickname was beginning to become a regular thing for the trickster it seemed. “Just because I hated it, doesn’t mean that I’m a wimp.” He scoffed slightly, before wrinkling his nose at the smell of the steam from Loki.


His attention quickly snapped to Loki who happened to use up both his and Nana’s spot on the couch while using Jim’s lap as a pillow for his head. Jim just blinked down at the male, not really retorting to the male’s actions and neither pushing him off. It was simply an action that he expected from the male and felt comfortable with. Though it seemed a bit less uncomfortable than the other times, though Jim wasn’t sure to why that was. But just ignored it. He just simply stared down at the male in amusement, raising an eyebrow at him. “Now you’re shortening the nickname? Oh gods…” Jim flicked the male’s forehead, chuckling a bit before remarking, “I’ll take that.” He swiftly got a hold of the bottle with a light grin.
